      "It is still a mans world. You will be outnumbered on a constant basis, and have to continually prove yourself, and you still may not get the recognition or respect you deserve."

      "Some areas are good but majority is still old school and good old boy mentality. Difficult to move positions because they restrict to you out of many positions because of pay grade jumping. "

      "There is a significant effort to increase the number or women in the top leadership levels of the company. Mentors and sponsors are readily available for top talent and generally are very engaged. Downside is that we do not have paid maternity leave beyond what's required from a disability standpoint (6-8 weeks)."

      "I haven't dealt with issues of not being treated equally but it is a very large company and I know that women in other areas of the company have had different experiences than I have."

      "While Deere is attempting to change its culture, it is still a male-dominated, conservative environment. "Wait-your-turn" leadership is an unstated principle that often works against diverse and/or female mid-career hires because Deere has many employees with 20+ years with the company."
