"I think your experience here will ultimately depend on your manager. I got lucky and have an excellent manager that I report directly to. Finally I have the support that I've been missing in previous jobs, and I know that my manager will be the first to advocate for me and my team."

"Family leave policy is definitely the worst I have seen in the industry and I would also rate benefits and flexible work schedule to be bottom of the industry standard"

"Work from home option is almost non existent. 16 weeks of maternity where pay is covered only by short term insurance which is needed before you get pregnant."

"I have not perceived in my department that men and women are treated differently, however most leaders are men. Work friendships/camaraderie can often come easier between men, compared to men and women, so that could definitely have some impact."

"While in my department we have flexibility to go to Dr. appointments for a small part of the day, I am not sure how widespread that is. Dish culture is very against working from home, so very few people are granted that flexibility with their manager, even for something like a significant snowstorm."
