"Never go to HR. You will be viewed as the problem. They claim they are diverse and inclusive but they promote incompetent men over experienced females all of the time. If you like to prove yourself over and over and get nothing in return then this is the place for you"

"Things are not perfect, there is always room for improvement. And obviously it would be better if women didn't have to do the heavy lifting contributing to that improvement. That said, I've found that giving feedback and introducing improvements is accepted with open arms. Leadership is genuinely on board with supporting whatever ideas we have to improve diversity not just for women but across the board. I'm only a few months in and my ideas are already respected and suggestions being put into practice. Additionally, when I do this "extra work" on top of my main job, it has a dedicated section in performance review and promotion documentation. So at least it is actually a valued part of my job function, and not just work I'm not getting paid for. My leadership is supporting me spending time on this and ultimately taking some amount of time away from my primary job functions, instead of working overtime to do both. I am genuinely inspired to keep working here and making things better every week."
