Stop the stress of layoffs. We have been under the fear of lay-offs for years and years now. It has taken it toll. The positivity as been sucked dry. The energy depleted.

  • Recommend to Women?

Maybe. We are in a very bad environment right now. Very stressful with an additional 25K being let go. A once exciting company is not showing it's best colors right now. I would probably encourage they wait a bit. But Ericsson is a very good company to work for.

Depends on environment where you work on: on Nordic European country is much different then in Mediterranean: it all depends on cultural belongings of managers; exceptions are rare. Working in Mediterranean region I would say: "Don't expect promotion on real management position (people manager on medium to upper level), be prepare to work hard and prove yourself twice as much than a man" "Expect around 15-20% less money on same position and qualification"
