"Please do not enter a sales role in this company without fully understanding you will be one of UNDER 10 total female Account Executives of the over 100 in the company across all locations. All leaders and trainers are male, and the sales culture is a toxic, male-run environment not meant for women. THERE IS A REASON why most female salespeople wind up leaving within their first six months, and I lived it firsthand. All the men at the company are white, male, and born into wealth. About 30% of those I talked to had their own private pilots' licenses, and 90% golf. Golf is a constant topic of conversation, and if you don't enjoy a boy's club environment, do NOT take the AE role. It's essentially cold calling, which FI will also deny because technically, folks have reached out for info once, whether they remember it or not. Outside of sales, the company is great and the culture is excellent, but I cannot recommend a role in sales to any woman looking to start in a diverse and healthy environment as it currently exists."
