Great flexibility and work/life balance, but compensation could be better, depending on which department you're in.

I work in the Legal department, which is more conservative/traditional than other departments, and I still am really happy with the degree of flexibility that I am offered to work from home, adjust my hours, etc.

I have seen absolute equality of compensation and availabilty of growth opportunities between men and women. Gender does not play into pay decisions, it is all about experience, passion and results.

The recruiting team is very flexible, sales less so just due to the nature of a commission based environment.

The flexibility is incredible. The company policy on PTO is unlimited but even beyond that, there is a great focus on work/life balance. I am not a parent, but I know the maternity leave policy is also amazing.

Groupon does a great job of empowering ALL employees. The flexibility, opportunity to work from home, and unlimited PTO is great!

Benefits are really amazing. Company overall is super flexible (I can't speak for departments like CS where there are probably required hours/shifts.) Would like to see more women in leadership positions, but that is a focus going forward.

The experience varies greatly depending on your team and manager. Management will change quite often so it is a bit of a gamble.

The company overall is very large, with has some excellent employee resource groups and solid benefits (including 401k, but no match). They recently increased their parental leave time, up to a total of 16 weeks off paid. It's harder to move around between departments and get promoted than you'd expect for such a large company, but can be done if you seriously hustle and do a ton of internal networking. It's a good place to work if you want something stable, but the company isn't on the cutting edge in terms of other big tech players.

Maybe. I wouldn't recommend my department, but it seems that women in more technical roles seem to perform well at the company, and seem to enjoy their jobs.

It still doesn't quite have it's footing in terms of business ventures, which is good and bad. There are always new opportunities to try things, but you also can spend a lot of time churning doing throw away work.

My feelings are mixed. I had a wonderful team and an incredibly supportive manager and whip-smart peers. However, about a year ago that all changed. Senior leadership turnover, competent & creative peer departures. What was left was a senior leadership boys network, hostile environment and simply put, confusion. Very few senior women left. Sad.
