"Maternity and paternity leave rocks! Great for early/middle career workers as long as you get your projects completed on time and well done. Don't expect accommodations for your schedule; just own your time and make decisions about your calendar."

"I took 8 weeks maternity leave, 4 weeks vacation and about 2 weeks of management paid time off (4 months total). However, the maternity and paternity leave (and adoption leave) has recently been raised and it is now more likely someone has up to 6 months off in the US. It's really good for a US employer."
