"IBM does show efforts to promote women in IT. They offer special networking memberships to women only networking. They have internal groups. The CEO is a woman, but not many reporting into her were. Mostly men at that level. But there were many women in the areas of marketing and sales and operations at VP levels."

"In technical roles, less flexibility exists due to client commitments. However, at the manager level and above, more flexibility is available. One must still be cognizant of their leader's opinion of work hours, work/life balance, and family. The IBM "culture" does not always ring true across the entire organization."
