"There is a lot of room for growth at IBM but your career is what you make of it. You can be very successful if you seek out sponsors and mentors and find your niche within the larger organization."

"IBM is a very large company and the amount of flexibility afforded depends a lot on your team and role. In consulting, it is very difficult to have a flexible schedule given the amount of travel required."

"IBM is a good company to work for but a few of their programs are lacking funding so make sure to negotiate your salary well as health benefits are expensive and salary programs are poorly funded. You will get plenty of opportunities to work on cool things with great people giving you new skills and opportunities that most companies can't offer."
