With access to mentoring, education, etc., as a woman, I do not feel (nor have ever felt) that women and men are not treated equally. You decide where you want your career to take you. Working for such a large company as IBM, you can try your hand at many things, and even make a complete change in career paths if that's what you want to do. Diversity abounds at this company, giving you the opportunity to work with a vast range of intellectual, insightful, individuals who offer so much to the success of IBM. My only strike would be that although the flexibility is great, the jobs are typically demanding and the "work" piece can sometimes outweigh the "life" piece of "work-life balance"."
