"Great place to jump start your career. It is hard to maintain work life balance for working moms, due to the nature of the work. But at least the firm try really hard to support women. Not many company i have seen done similiar things for women."

"There are flexible working arrangements and I would encourage you to use them. However, I felt that these arrangements were only available to women with children. This mostly makes sense, but if you’re the primary caregiver of someone who isn’t your child...I never ran into anyone like that with a flexibile work arrangement. It also seemed far more common that the employee negotiated the arrangement as a part of moving from another firm. During my time I never saw anyone start a flexible work arrangement, the only woman who had one, had it from the moment she stepped through the door. "

"Flexibility is entirely dependent upon your practice group’s SPU and the managers you work with directly. While my particular managers had no problem with us being flexible about work times (ie, “you may come any time as long as it’s by 9am”) or flexible about us being away for doctors appointments, there was never any ambiguity that we absolutely had to meet our chargeable hour requirements for the month/quarter/year. Be prepared to work many, many hours."
