"I think it is a great company to work for but your career progression depends on the department you are in. Stay away from the tax department. Working long hours on a regular basis and often unpredictable schedule. Stressful environment and senior directors push everything on managers but provide little support."

"Women do get paid less than men so negotiate before you accept an offer. They won't likely pay anyone the top of the posted salary, so expect to land in the middle of the range."

"I have worked here for eight years and the men I started with are all making more money. That alone doesn't give a full picture, but I am the only one with a higher degree in that peer group and the men all have senior level leadership interest in their careers. Of four underwriting teams, 80% of underwriters are women and 100% of the managers are men."
