"As a company, Marriott is diverse, especially when it comes to women in leadership positions, and places a large emphasis on caring for its associates. However, like any other company, the leadership of the team you're on matters when it comes to your personal career experience and growth. My organization was quite siloed, and I personally didn't feel that there were a lot of opportunities to advance my career in the way I wanted to grow."

"Great maternity leave benefit, and on-site daycare center. A little light on PTO, challenging to accommodate family needs and vacations on 15 days (or less if a temp)

"Men will make more money even with less experience. Being good at your job is not as important as making friends. As a female it was not ok to call out a man in a higher position for not doing his job. "

"Have strong EQ because it doesn't matter how talented you are, it's the relationships you build that are relevant here. Make sure you can work with a multitude of personalities and will readily accept broadly diverse opinions."
