"Nasdaq is evolving rapidly for the better. Representation of women is among the best of the S&P 500 companies, with a female CEO, CFO, EVP of Investment Intelligence, Controller, etc. And they are not just figureheads -- the advocate for equality, inclusion, and advancement of women.
The entire company is becoming more balanced, valuing people as well as profits, and building a truly fantastic, empowering culture."

"Nasdaq is a hard-working place! People who only want to put in the minimum effort will not be ultimately successful.
HOWEVER, there is a great deal of flexibility in HOW you achieve your goals. There is no problem taking a day off (we have a "Flex Days" policy on top of vacation & sick days) and it's fine to step out for an appointment during the day. Many people log off late afternoon to take care of home responsibilities, but log on later at night to catch up on email. "

"I've worked here for 5 years. It is a male dominated environment with very few women in leadership roles especially at the mid level. In general, I believe women are treated fairly although Career Advancement is tough. Regarding work/life balance, some parents have been able to work from home 2 days a week. The company is slowly getting better at this. Paid maternity is available 10-12 weeks. A 2 week paid paternity leave is available as well."
