"I don't have any specific thoughts about working here as a woman, just that the product specialist role is abysmal and poorly compensated."

"I'm in their entry level product specialist capacity right now, even though I was technically hired as an "accelerated technical account manager". As a product specialist, you are literally doing customer support with a high volume benchmark of tickets they want you to take daily. It's very time-consuming and not rewarding, and product specialists also need to do off-shifts."

"I would say they are supportive of taking long maternity leaves, but they don't pay for it. They are supportive of you having a life outside of work, but you pay for it in your own perceived success. They are supportive of people working less than full time, but they don't know how to review performance of part-time employees against those of full-time employees. I would say it's not worse than anywhere else but it's not better either. The daycare is nice. That's a nice perk."

"Technically there is a ton of flexibility, but when you look around, and you see the people who are successful, they are mostly men who work much more than 40 hours per week. We are given relative ratings within peer groups, and are not promoted until we are greatly exceeding expectations, and the people who do that are those who work extra hard to achieve that."

"Yes"
12 Weeks Paid | 16 Weeks Unpaid
"12 weeks pay to split into 6 weeks short term disability and 6 weeks parental bonding time. Men receive 6 weeks. For women who have a C-section there are two additional weeks available. Unpaid leave technically can go up to a year, though three or 4 months is the maximum that is culturally acceptable in the United States."

"My manager believes himself to be extremely supportive, but when it comes down to actually fighting for the women on his team to be given equal opportunity even when they are taking maternity leave, and trying to balance time with their children, he just doesn't stand behind that. He does not believe people should be promoted while on leave, nor does he believe those on leave deserve the highest ratings, even though policy dictate that performance should be based only on the period of time that the employee is active."

"Qualtrics is committed to being a place where you can "bring your whole self to work". This means self-organized groups for LGBTQIA, Veterans, People with disabilities, different cultures, etc. The Company sends out quarterly surveys to track how people (anonymously) and managers are rated based on the feedback from their direct reports. We have regular diversity training and other workshops to eliminate bias in hiring, developing talent, and promotions.
There is a strong focus on supporting women in leadership roles, as the tech world is very gender lopsided. Qualtrics sets aggressive goals for hiring and promoting women so we have a more balanced workforce, where many different ideas and opinions can flourish. Each year I see them improving benefits and finding ways to make working more flexible for parents. It's honestly a company with great people and leadership who cares personally about their employees. "
