"I think its a good company although compensation relative to peers may not be great. Schwab does not strive to overpay and it shows in the recruiting. They do care about people."

"Although the culture does not support a team of remote employees typically, we do have the flexibility (in certain roles) to work remotely when necessary. It gives me the flexibility to manage exceptions to the schedule that come up at home."

"Benefits and pay are good. Flexibility is limited. There are very few female leaders -- For example, only 25% of Walt Bettinger's (the CEO) leaders are female. Our group has 20% women (1 of 5) and the next level up is 100% men -- not a single woman (beside his admin). "

"I do wish there wasn't such a demand for "seats in chairs" for areas that are more technical where work is not always collaborative with folks in your location. This flexibility to work remote, even if random or once a week, would help with flexibility in a very substantial and impactful way."
