"Schwab is generally very supportive of women and there is a growing bench of women leaders. Depending on your department you could have more or less flexibility. But, policy-wise, flex schedules and maternity leave are extremely lacking. There is zero paid maternity leave (all disability based) and very limited, only 3 months and tacking on vacation time is frowned upon though sometimes understanding bosses approve it. But for smaller company wanting to recruit the best talent, this maternity leave situation needs to change and technology and culture need to improve/adjust to make more flexible work schedules work..."
