"Flexibility varies depending on the Department you work for and your individual manager. Across the board, there are many policies in place (such as telecommuting) but generally it is still very hard to get leadership to buy in and actually try something new. The benefits are great but there are no cost of living or performance based raises so you have to job hop if you want to earn more!"

"There are many women working here, even in management. In fact, the head of the agency is currently a woman. Maternity leave is a combo of annual leave and sick leave (you get 176 and 124 every annual anniversary and it accrues) up to six months. Advancement can be very political particularly to the higher- ranking and paying positions."
