"Office people have more flexibility than shop floor people for obvious reasons. But in the past few years, they changed the start time for shop floor personnel making them come in later and leave later in the day - thus causing them to get off later. Use to be at the same time or earlier than school got out. They could make appointments, attend kids' activities, but now it's 4:30 and these things are now impossible without using time off."

"I think this is a good stepping stone for women who want to pursue a degree because Terex will absolutely send you to a university and pay for it, which is what attracted me to this job. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be anywhere to move up once you achieve your degree, which will lead me to pursue employment elsewhere."

"People are often surprised I work for Terex just because of the industry we work in, but they're always pleasantly surprised when I tell them about all the great policies Terex has in place to promote a gender neutral environment and benefit women greatly."

"We are able to flex our place we work, hours we work, and days we work in a way that still lets the business be successful but gives us the ability to be there for our families and community. I don't currently have children, but I really enjoy being able to flex my hours and help out at a local charity."

"Terex offers flexibility and very competitive family leave policies. Management is always willing to work with you to make sure you're able to balance work and personal life. "
