"As a salaried employee, I have much greater flexibility to adjust my schedule as needed. I don't abuse this, but appreciate when I need to leave early/come in late for an appointment or for my children. I would say the flexibility on the shop floor for women is limited to none."

"Terex is definitely making strides to improve work life balance. They have recently implemented paid maternity leave and up to 2 weeks of pay to take care of a family member when on FMLA. They also just started a pilot program for flexible work schedules and work from home options."

"Terex is still at a relatively early stage of managing diversity issues. There are so many differences between all of the international cultures that I understand it can look great in one country, not so good in another. They do make an effort though. The things which are great include equal opportunity for any gender (or race, etc.) for job promotion. The things which are not so great include less than a fair share of women in very senior roles. There are some gaps in HR areas such as no training on matters such as harassment but the support you get is great (if there were any issues). They have a good employee assistance program and are committed to acting ethically which is wonderful. A recently introduced mentor program and a continuous focus on team member development is also excellent. Overall, I would say they are on their way to being great."

"Terex has a very practical, down to earth culture. Improvement is one of the company's values and I would say this is embedded in the culture. If you have a good idea and can support how it will benefit the business, it will be championed. I like working for a global business -- but it has a small company feel at the same time. Leadership is very accessible at all levels in my experience."
