"Your manager will tell you, that you can choose your hours but then come up with an excuse why you can't. If you take too long on rumble because you are trying to do it nicely you will get told off, but if you do it fast another manger will say you haven't done it correctly. Gender is still of topic when they assign your job, for example if you are female you are most likely to be assigned to the clothing, health & beauty, or cooking in the deli/ bakery. Where if you are male you are likely to be on the alcohol and drinks isle, or the backdoor taking the deliveries. "

"Take the job for flexible hours, but know you're unlikely to be promoted. You'll have to stand up for yourself to stop work encroaching on your home life. "
