"Unfortunately, the culture towards women is very unfavorable. This manifests in "soft" ways (like tone deaf performance reviews with gendered adjectives) and more concrete ways like stalled career progression, "promotions" without pay bumps, and hostility towards working mothers. Overall, it's a deflating culture for the vast majority of women across all departments."

"You will be expected to work nights and weekends. You will be expected to make your life all about Trader Joe’s. You will be pressured to work Friday nights, Saturday and Sunday. I was told I had to do 2 shifts a weekend for the entire year I worked at Trader Joe’s.
No flexibility was given on this. The favorite employees got mornings and weekdays."

"Managers get rates by employees and at the same time of year the surveys come out for employees to rate managers, you will find your managers will suddenly begin sucking up- this is temporary until survey time is over, which is bout a 4 week window.
It is a game."
