"I started my career at Ingersoll Rand as an Inside Sales Specialist. While I enjoyed the work I did, I wanted to be in HR. My manager encouraged me to get my Master's in Human Resource Manager and helped me get set up for the tuition reimbursement program. While attending school online, I was promoted to a Territory Manager. After completing my degree, I applied for an entry level HR position through IR and was hired. I have been with IR since February 2015 and I have zero intention of ever working for anyone else. This company promotes from within and supported my career aspirations. I've made friendships here with colleagues and this place has become my second family. I absolutely love my job!"

"I have been working with Ingersoll Rand for 4.5 years and its the best company I have ever worked for. Their Paradigm for Parity initiative proves how dedicated they are to the advancement of women. They empower their employees to own their careers and provide rich programs to support growth and development. And their flexible work has been so valued to me and my family. I am able to work from home 2-3 days a week and I am so grateful for this. As a new Mom this has been so valued to have the flexibility I need to find the best balance for me. "

"This is my third Fortune 500 company and - by far - the best culture. Most people are very practically minded. Teamwork and respect are good. Leaders are authentic. Keen focus on sustainability. My manager allows great flexibility, and I think most managers do. I love it here. And there's a serious commitment to career development for women - and to hiring more women. I'm proud of the products we make and way we make them. "

"My function by nature is already majorly female. IR feels like a small company despite our size. I can easily make connections across the company and am consistently encouraged to do so. The pace of change is increasing, but that’s a sign of our times. Sometimes our internal processes make the rapid change difficult, but we are learning."
