"Unum is on a journey of inclusion and diversity - across all fronts - but has made significant progress in the gender diversity space. Their Women's Professional Network is an employee resource group (read: employees from across the company, volunteering their time) that has driven a significant amount of programming and policy changes that continue to make it a better place for women to work and advance. "

"Unum has a short term disability plan for birth mothers that can pay up to 100% of your salary for 6 weeks (depending on your tenure). They also have a 6 week paid parental leave policy for biological, adoptive and foster mothers and fathers. Combined, birth mothers could have up to 12 weeks of leave at 100% salary. "

"Probably predominately female. Great work/life balance Call center is very isolated, repetitive work, and boring. Also can be very frustrating line of work because you are always dealing with irate customers."
