"Overall, it's a great company to work for. There are challenges in getting promoted as a female. I was told it is very hard to get promoted to VP but then counted 17 people who had been promoted - and only one of those was female. I'm not confident pay is equal either - but Visa will not share that. I'd love to see a more even application of promotions and transparency around pay. "

"My manager told me to not talk about career ambitions and it even went into my annual performance review - I had only spoken to two people. This was disappointing and surprising. I assumed a female boss would be supportive of movement. I suspect she is part of the old guard. She is supportive if there are development programs that I wish to participate in. I just wish I could see better support in my career growth within Visa."

"Visa is a hierarchical and highly political company. Asking to work flexibly is taken to mean you are not committed to your role, and often requests are not seriously considered. No efforts are made to reintegrate women into work following maternity leave. "
