"PROS: Vanguard's benefits (PTO, 401k match, health insurance, parental / medical leave) are hard to beat. It's an extremely kind culture and very rotational. CONS: Salary is on the lower side, which is why I would never start my career here. The rotational culture isn't always great because employees and leaders switch positions on such a frequent basis. Change fatigue is real. Like any other company, your experience at Vanguard really depends on the team you join. Most employees are in a hybrid model (Tues-Weds-Thurs in office) coming out of the pandemic, and the reaction has been mixed. Many employees want more flexibility and the ability to bring in talent outside of the Philadelphia, Scottsdale, Charlotte, and Dallas areas in the US. There are some fully remote roles, but leadership is doesn't seem inclined to increase the number anytime soon."

"If you have other options, I would strongly suggest you explore the other options. Vanguard is a bit of a Kool-aid place. You will hear a lot about a "strong culture". What I experienced was a strong culture of daily micro aggressions (and I strongly suspect I had it easier than some). Vanguard is stuck in the 80s."

"I've worked there for over 17 years and many changes are taking place within the company. Because I could not obtain my securities licenses, I am told I have to leave in June 2015. Not looking forward to going out and looking for a new job and having to compete with younger women. The years that I have worked for the company for were wonderful. I will miss all my co workers that have become my friends. I guess if I would say that this company is great to work for. Their benefits are good and they do care for their employees."
