"Must work at the corporate headquarters - branches across the US are not treated as well as those who sit in Orange, CA. There are limited opportunities for growth outside of corporate. Many individuals are dissatisfied, and fear losing their positions daily. Pay for roles is under the market standard and recognition is rarely ever provided. Expected to work on off-hours frequently. Company changes compensation plans without warning, and designates new titles without discussing with employees. Though this company does have many woman working in it, the company does not foster a positive, and empowering environment - rather supports constant competition and cattiness. I would not recommend employment at Volt Information Sciences for the following reasons:
1) Compensation is not equitable and not at market rate
2) Do not take concerns seriously and do not allow for contributions
3) Often do not allow employees to engage in the various processes or project management
4) Do not give employees opportunities to grow
5) Lack of tracking and measuring of progress"
