At least one parent is employed in 91.9 percent of families with children (both parents are employed in 67 percent of two-parent households), according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. And those numbers continue to climb, which means that work-life balance is becoming more of a critical conversation in companies across the country. But it’s not just important for employees; companies need to care, too, since more workers prioritize a healthy work-life balance over pay, according to RAND.AS research.
That’s why we’re sitting down with three panelists—executives at Bank of America—who are leaders in the Bank’s Workplace Benefits business. Workplace Benefits focuses on providing the very products and services companies need to support their employees’ retirement, child care, and wellness offerings. All are key to supporting an employee’s work/life integration. Bank of America prefers work/life integration because balance implies something will fall which is defeatist. Our panelist will discuss their work/life integration, and building long-growth careers while being truly present for their families at home. They are in the unique situation of seeing how the benefits that they offer their client’s employees, impact their own lives.
In this webinar, you’ll learn about:
How to find and maintain a healthy work-life integration by sharing their career journeys
How a company’s culture impacts career options
Explain Bank of America’s Workplace Benefits team and opportunities
What current skills translate to a Workplace Benefits career
