Amber Kelley Batie

Amber is a Sr. Manager, Material Flow Engineering at Lucid Motors. She was previously the Sr. Manager for Plant Logistics Operations and was responsible for material handling in most of Manufacturing. While finishing college, Amber began her career in automotive manufacturing at Hyundai Motors Manufacturing of Alabama. For two months, she worked on the assembly line in BIW installing moving parts before she was promoted to the technical role of Computer Control Room Operator. Over the next six years, she was promoted into multiple roles: Material Controller (Supply Chain Analyst), Packaging Specialist, and Assistant Manager of Material Handling. Her true love and passion have always been engineering. She is also passionate about bringing more women and Black folks into the auto industry and has helped develop STEM pathways at local schools.

Colleen McGuinness

Manager, Vehicle and Prototype Build Engineering Planning, Lucid Motors

Colleen is the Manager for Vehicle and Prototype Build Engineering Planning at Lucid Motors. She brings 30 years of material expertise, ranging from Operations and Manufacturing to Purchasing and Planning Management. Born and raised in Silicon Valley, she started at a small chocolate manufacturer in San Jose, creating manufacturing processes and packaging as well as distribution for companies such as Apple and HP.  Her role at Lucid in the Vehicle Integration Prototype Team ranges from helping to manage the builds, to tracking and maintaining the Engineering and Benchmark Fleet with her team. She is passionate about the environment and is widely known as Lucid’s in-house Plant Hospital and Cat Rescuer. To foster her passion for the environment, she spent 21 years taking children on night hikes at Hidden Villa Environmental Education Wilderness Preserve.  

Daniela Tobar Tlatelpa

Senior Manager, Engineering and Critical Issues, Lucid Motors

Daniela is a veteran in the automotive industry and has worked in various roles, including Engineering, Production, Finance and Program Management. She has lived and worked in different places around the world, including Puebla, Mexico; Michigan, USA; and Lindau, Germany and is currently in the Bay Area. She fluently speaks four languages and was raised by a single mother and older sister in central Mexico. With a degree in Industrial Engineering and an MBA, Daniela broke barriers with her various roles at Lucid, and currently recently serves as a Sr. Manager of Engineering and Critical Issues, reporting directly to the CEO. Daniela’s belief is that the unattainable does not exist, and she is focused on achieving goals and defying barriers. She actively supports the Latino community and is currently building up Lucid’s Hispanic and LatinX Employee Resource Group. In her free time, her passion is to travel around the world and get to know more about culture.
