Frequent moves can make it difficult for spouses to manage their careers but luckily several companies are making those transitions a little easier.

Currently Quynh is the Project Manager for Microsoft’s Military Spouse Technology Academy (MSTA), working to train military spouses in the IT field and assisting them with career development and continuity.

Nikole Schmidt is the Executive Director for The Paradigm Switch, a non-profit that empowers and guides military spouses to work anywhere in the world. With 9 years of experience in non-profit development and grant writing experience, she has been a guiding force in the rapid growth of their mission. Nikole is a seasoned active duty Air Force Spouse and has a wide-range of experience in community building and ensuring the wellbeing of our military families. Shanna Helf is the Program Management Specialist for Military Family Programs at the USO. In this role, she coordinates the development and execution of key programs for military spouses and families and has traveled to deliver these programs at USO Centers across the United States, Europe, and the Pacific. Shanna has a BA in Social Justice from the George Washington University and lives in Arlington, VA, recently married to an Army Reservist.
