It has taken me three years to truly "bounce back" after being let go from a company after 18 years. I'm in a wonderful place now (after having traveled from one coast to the next) and take responsibility for my mistakes and recognizing theirs. I want to say to those that lose their job: things happen for a reason - use this time to grow. I now practice the art of gratefulness and recognize that losing that job was the best thing that happened to me.

They were not the right people for you.
Where you are now - would you say this blessing was worth the pain, redirection?

Everything. Being able to be a mom, wife, daughter and an executive without feeling guilty about not having the perfect work-life balance is my biggest accomplishment

Isn't work-life balance so elusive and not exactly attainable anyway?
Love this! Amazing - guilt is so common and fully embracing ourselves is undersold. It is very critical to accept who we are fully. Love this share.
