Got a griddle? Here's a flat bread for it, and food truck!

Flat Bread, makes 4-8 depending on size 1 cup flour 1 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 cup yogurt, or tofu, or lemon alt milk Combine, cover, let sit about an hour, cut into pieces, roll into a ball, roll flat, dry griddle a few minutes on each side- they will bubble up and get brown bits. They are really good with m melted butter brushed across them that has garlic and parsley in it! Thinking I will get a food truck. Will work on research to what all I need besides the Food safety manager certification. So excited, plan to do a pay it forward tip thing where I plan to offer meals free to houseless, and have a donation box incase others who can afford to pay may pay for someone else's meal! The chocolate chunk cookies will be on the daily menu, along with other vegan options such as sausages, burgers, steak- salads and wraps (all vegan)- yes we finally perfected some, make them once a month, everything goes super quick. I am partial to the sausages, the casing is just insane. Need to test all these over the fire pit, still! Names spouse and myself have discussed: Green Go, Green to Go, Luna Lunchbox, That Cafe, Mos Luna.

About this group

When running a Kitchen off donated items that may be different from week to week, it's good to be flexible and be able to ask for help. There are also outside factors that may be in play as well, such as volunteers, training, storage, equipment, etc. Come to us with any questions and ideas and we will answer and be appreciative, and help if help is needed.
