Carrot cake Smoothie for two:
3 large chopped dates
3 medium carrots, diced
2 servings pea protein powder (thick but use the protein powder you have)
1 cup juice (something mild like apple, unless one wants to mix it up)
3 frozen sliced bananas
pinch salt/dash vanilla/1/4 tsp nutmeg or cinnamon (optional but makes it better
Throw these in a blender and blend until smooth.
The first sip might be strange but I find the smoothie grows on ya.
*My new coworkers don't want to wear a mask to work, do not want to make our clientele or volunteers to stick to our policy, fighting it tooth and nail, and I won't be bullied, so I am out of my cooking org job, unless they take me back after there is a vaccine.
