Staying Focused
Do you ever have trouble staying focused?
If you’re anything like me, your mind can sometimes look a little like this:
“I’m so inspired by this aria I’m studying, it reminds me of this other one I love and will start singing right now”
“I actually should plan out next month’s content”
“Gotta prep for this week’s coaching sessions”
“Might as well pick up my guitar while I’m at it, haven’t touched that in a while”
When you have many passions or projects going on, it can be challenging to pinpoint where you’d like to focus your attention first.
And before you know it you’re feeling stuck, burnt out, and guilty for being “behind”.
But remember, you have those passions for a reason and you are never behind; your path will continue to become clear along the way.
One thing that really helps when you might be feeling foggy is to refer back to your vision and mission as an artist.
If you could wave a magic wand and be living your ideal life, making the impact you want to make with your art, what would you be doing and how would you be spending your time?
Now what actions can you begin to take that in that direction?
Would love to know what helps you stay focused!
