Trying to transition the Salesforce Ecosystem
I became a Certified Salesforce Administrator in March 2020 and I've been applying for Salesforce Administrator positions for the past few months. I'm starting to get discouraged because it's hard to even get an interview. Am I going wrong somewhere?
Also, did you see this post? https://fairygodboss.com/groups/BJNzOD08B/career-change-support-for-women/community-discussion/Ky2fk4dq-/upskill-into-salesforce-ecosystem-1?utm_source=link&utm_medium=content-share
Have you applied with Atos (I work with them currently, not in Salesforce but other IT): https://jobs.atos.net/search/?createNewAlert=false&q=Salesforce+Administrator&optionsFacetsDD_country=&optionsFacetsDD_city=&optionsFacetsDD_customfield2=&optionsFacetsDD_customfield3=&optionsFacetsDD_department=&locationsearch=
From all of the workshops I've attended lately, these two seem to be the most common (and repeated) tips:
- create and share content on LinkedIn (share projects, write/share articles, upload content, show your expertise)
- connect and build relationships with people who are doing what you want to do.
Hope that helps,
Deauna
