Solo Racing
With most races cancelled across the country, how are you finding motivation in your daily training routines? Signing up for a triathlon was the key motivator in getting out on my bike or in the swimming pool. I still run, but am pretty slow these day. Missing the camaraderie of working out with other people.
Consider grabbing some friends and doing a virtual relay! Virtual races can be frustrating because they lack the external motivation, but you can solve that and have a lot of fun with a relay.
I did my best long run of the summer at 4am because of our friendly relay race! My friends and I did video/photo baton handoffs where we each made our own baton, and had a place on social media for us all to get together to share encouragement and photos.
