I am attempting to re-enter the workforce after over 2 years of a voluntary career break to take care of my child and I also completed a Graduate Certificate in Finance to keep my skills up to date.

I am done with that now, and excited to jump back into work! I am seeking Sr. Financial Analyst roles in an FP&A discipline. I had 15+ years of experience in FP&A and Accounting in Financial Services before I took my break. I have applied online and gone on several interviews where I made it to several rounds but have not been able to pass that last hurdle to an offer. I found out the last role I interviewed for I was one of the last two final candidates, but I was not selected. I am not sure at this point since I received feedback from the recruiter that I did well during my interviews, but still no offer. I would appreciate any advice and recommendations. If you know of opportunities for Sr. Financial Analyst positions, please let me know! Thank you!

check out RTX re-entry program (rtx.com) as it is set for situations like this. I am unsure the roles they have open, but if you go on our website you can read all the information and see if it a possibility for you.

Several large financial firms have a "return to work after a break" program. Many are specifically aimed at women returning to the workforce. Deloitte has an Encore program and there a few others.

I'm not sure if you went through a staffing firm or a company and spoke with a recruiter within HR. I'm also not sure where you are located but there are tons of FA roles. Duck Creek, Home Depot, etc. Just google, then connect on LinkedIn with those in hiring positions. Grainger, BMW, and so so many more. I wish you the very best and sounds like you will land something very soon!

Thank you for the guidance! I am not going through a staffing firm, but applying online on websites on my own. The recruiter who gave me nice feedback was an internal recruiter for the company I interviewed at. I am located in the San Francisco Bay Area. Have a great day!
