I have been looking for jobs since 9 months in Toronto, Canada after I graduated.
However, there has been no luck. I have already given 10-15 interviews but never got the offer letter. Every entry level job keeps asking me if I have at least 3 years of work experience. Which I do not since I recently graduated. I am looking for entry level jobs in Banks. Please provide guidance or help in any form. Thank you.
If you’re looking for entry level banking check out roles like Teller, Deposit Operations, Item Processing and Call Center roles.
Roles asking for 3+ years of experience aren’t truly entry level even if they are labeled as such on Indeed or LinkedIn.
Consider community banks and credit unions.
Since you’re getting interviews, it seems your resume isn’t the problem so you may need to find someone to practice interviewing with who can also give you some honest feedback. There’s likely something you’re saying or doing in interviews that isn’t meshing with what these companies are looking for.
