Network! And I mean you make sure that everyone you know is aware that you’re looking. I got hired into my company by a causal acquaintance. Turned out to be the best job I’ve ever had and my salary has almost doubled in a decade thanks to promotions and raises. With bonuses it has doubled

So true! PMI is the org to join. You should definitely become a member and/or join some of their upcoming meetup events and conferences. https://www.pmi.org/ Also, work with your school's alumni connections / career team to see if they can put you in touch with alum who might have hiring leads.

Congratulations on your graduation, Kinza! ? If you're looking to expand your career opportunities, I'd definitely recommend checking out Weltec's digital marketing course. https://www.weltec.in/ I'm currently doing the course there myself, and it's been a great learning experience with practical, industry-focused training. The skills you gain are in high demand, and top-performing students may also get an opportunity to work with the Weltec team. Wishing you all the best in your job search and future career!

I was convinced I had botched it. I spent weeks spiraling, replaying every mistake, fearing academic ruin. The anxiety was a relentless game of Buckshot Roulette, each passing day a potential bullet. Eventually, I just submitted what I had, and somehow, I passed with a respectable grade. The lesson: sometimes overthinking is the biggest obstacle.

Hi Kinza, congratulations on the MS — that's a solid foundation. One thing that helps new PM grads is translating the degree into short, concrete stories: a project where you managed scope, timeline, stakeholders, or a tight handoff, and what actually changed because you were involved. And don't limit yourself to roles titled Project Manager — Coordinator and Associate PM roles are often the real entry point, and they value exactly that kind of structured thinking. Wishing you well in the search.
