Hello my fellow Boss Women! My name is Alexandra (Alli) and I have been on the hunt for a job since March of 2023. I have been blessed with some part time work, however need some assistance in finding a full time job in this incredibly saturated market. I have been working in HR for the past 6 years and absolutely love it! I am very open to whatever opportunity will get me in the door so I can start my career. Thank you all for your help :)

I am in a very similar situation - working in HR with the last 9 years being part time. Now that our family is complete, I am ready to transition to full time!

I wouldn’t psyche myself out by assuming the market is saturated. It isn’t. Thats just tactic. Don’t let it hold you back.

Hi, What makes you say it is saturated?

I’ve been on the hunt too but I’m coming off of a 5 year hiatus to raise my children. You should have a leg up on me. Should you happen to find a F/T job and your employer is willing to do remote (I live in NY) I’d love to take over that P/T HR position off your hands. Good luck!

when you said that you have been looking for a job, it seems me talking. What I have done all the time even when I have a job is applying to every single vacancy I see open even though I do lot qualified for it. That attitude has keeping me all the time with a job. I haven’t had that taught during my journey of looking for a job, but it has worked out very well. For example, most of the time when is time to leave a job, I have had another open job for me next day or next week from the time I left the oldest job. Good luck!
