Thanks
I just wanted to thank all the women on this site. After reading suggestions on what to do/ask when in an interview, I went into my interviews with confidence.
Good news is, I received a job offer & accepted. As a senior woman, I was afraid that my age would be a factor. But the person who interviewed me was impressed with the questions I posed to him.
Thanks ladies & good luck with your job hunt.
Fabulous news! Good luck on your next career adventure!
Congratulations, and best of luck in your new role!!!
Congratulations and all the best in the new role!
Congratulations!!
All the best!! Would love to hear more about the role / process.
One of the things I learned from several interviews is how many interviewees don't know anything about the company they applied to. That is a basic. Know something about the company.
Also, be prepared to answer the "what is your best attribute" or something along those lines AND the reverse, "what is your weakness" or something along those lines. When you answer the second half, let them know how you are overcoming your weakness. Questions to ask the interviewer is: why do they like working for the company, where does the company see itself in the next 5 years, how will your position fit into the company's future plans (unless you're in a position like HR),
There are free sites that will give more hints. And every so often, some resume expert will hold a free class that will give hints on how to improve your resume. Take the free class.
Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!
