Fairygodboss Official Job Seeker Group

I was a director in my last role but I chose to take a manager role at my current company because the job was the same but the pay was more.

I love the work by my manager is a micromanager. She has burned out my 2 peers, with 1 stepping down to work for me. I have been looking to get out but also move into a more executive role. I cannot seem to get any responses to my applications. How does one make the leap to a higher level in this job market?
