Walmart e-Commerce is building next generation supply chain system to help customers save money, save time and live better. This position is with the Last Mile engineering team building our delivery offering. Last Mile delivery is at the heart of our Transportation strategy and an area that Walmart is investing in significantly. It is a relentless focus in this domain that will help us win and serve our customers even better. Our goal is to ensure customers can pick up their orders in-store or get them delivered to their door-step as per their convenience and in the most cost effective way. At the same time, we want our drivers to have a great experience driving for us using our available driver apps so that they can in turn provide the same to our customers. Minimum Qualifications -BS/MS in Computer Science, or equivalent. - 5+ years of Java development experience required. - 3+ years of demonstrated end-to-end experience building, testing and shipping commercially available Android apps. - Experience with at least one of the Android Architecture Blueprints Interacting with RESTful JSON APIs - Experience working in formal development environment (version control system, code review, strict coding standard, documentation, unit test)
