Everyday I get very excited when I hear the phone ring, hoping it is a recruiter, but 10/10 it is a solicitation for a car warranty, or someone selling me solar panels.
Perhaps, I should start asking them if they are hiring??

When I moved last year, I didn't get a landline. We just added one specifically so I can put it on my resume as "home office phone". We finally got the phone hooked up last week. I was so excited when it rang because hey, it was working! And yep, "we're calling about the extended warranty on your car".
