We are coming close to the ending of 2021.

It's been very challenging, but we were designed physically and mentally to beat obstacles. My question today is: What accomplishment or struggle were you able to either achieve or overcome?

I have absolutely been more vocal at work, advocating for myself in a way that I never used to. I have to say, I didn't think things would change...but they have started to shift in a positive way.

2020 - I lost my job from a career of 10 years. Enrolled in a training program in digital design to expand and build on my skills. Continued to work on my mental health. 2021 - Completed my training program. Made progress in my mental health. Now I am continuously looking for a new job.

Hiring a virtual assistant and podcast editor - and am in the process of hiring additional resume writers - due to my business being at capacity.

I took on "temporary" additional responsibilities to help transition a new project and client. It became far too time consuming (and not fun at all). I finally decided to tell my boss that it was affecting my morale and work/life balance. He took care of it and actually asked why I didn't express myself sooner. Cheers to good bosses!

sometimes we feel certain things are better left unsaid, but browny points for not all bosses are apathetic to others. absolutely a hooray for great bosses.

I think for me right now there are basically two, one is for job and the other is for the contest which will be held next month. As to job, I would like to be an good trader since it's not easy to deal with customers sometimes and I hope they can buy our products more. As to contest, I guess I will have to go hard for it, I wanna won a good prize in order to challenge myself.

Believe in yourself and you will. We at times don't see how strong we were created to be or forget how strong we really are. Key is to pause, look around and acknowledge how far you have made it from being a child to an adult.

From 2020 through 2021 I went from no college degree at all to getting my master's. :) I was *almost* finished with my undergrad, after 30 years of trying, and was able to finish in 2020. Then I qualified for an accelerated MS in Entrepreneurship at my university, so I'm DONE! (in 12 days that is...)

That's what I am talking about. never too late never unreachable. All you need is to believe in yourself, and the will power to continue your journey. Magnificent and congrats.

Great question, Rose! I have been experiencing some separation anxiety from my family (self diagnosed). I have a hard time being away from them after being home with them (almost) constantly since march 2020. I have been able to get my work travel going again and am feeling good and less panicked about leaving them. I call that a win!

I called that a win as well. This is also a description of self-care and awareness. You noticed something about yourself and you did something about it to make it better. Excellent job mamis.
