What Would You Do?

So since injuring my back a few months ago I have been working as a temp in the business office. I was asked by employee health to bid on a permanent position and I did a month ago but never heard a thing. In fact it is still posted. There hasn't been any word on whether they are considering me for that position and I am wondering what I should do. Should I send out my resumes to other places or stay put?

Yes I was asked to bid on a permanent position and bid is basically applying for the position and submitting an application.

Quick questions before I can give advice. Is the temp position the permanent position you bid on and what does "bid" include (just apply or actually bid an hourly or annual salary). xx
