Career Changers!

I was an Executive Assistant for years.

Got laid off. Started my own home organizing business. Want to get back to a stable job part-time to start and not as an EA. I am learning Quickbooks and feel like this could be a good part-time job and eventually I could get my own clients. The person I am training under doesn't have enough time to teach me so I want to know about other bookkeepers or opportunities where someone wants someone part-time so I can continue learning and make a little money. I'm a fast learner just not enough hours and too much time in between working for this accountant to be effective. Other avenues I am considering:: Data Analyst Scrum Master Would love to connect with people in any of these industries to help design a roadmap!

The Scrum Master has more people interaction than a Data Analyst. Scrum Masters usually lead a technical team to keep them on track. It has a similar feel as a project manager running a small team. A presentation is made during PI planning and you would be your teams representative for that. A Data Analyst would pull information from a Database such as SQL or Tableau and then review the data. Presentations are then made to management based on your findings. You may be asked to work with those who run the database to import any data you need. Not sure what your involvement would be in setting up polls or other to get information you would need.

I have more transferable skills to Scrum Master. I am taking a course on SQL on Coursera but I don't think that's near enough to land a job as an analyst. It feels unattainable. I want to find someone in each of those fields to talk to in depth as my sext step.

You can do a search (Data Analyst or Scrum Master) in LinkedIn. The search shows People, Posts, and Groups. I would suggest contacting the people, post creators, or join the groups to try and get answers to your questions.
