Hello everyone,

Hello everyone,

I’m currently exploring remote cybersecurity opportunities and would appreciate any connections or advice from this community.

I’m a Cybersecurity Analyst with 15+ years of IT and security experience across military and civilian environments. My work focuses on threat detection, endpoint protection, incident response, vulnerability management, and security monitoring.

I hold multiple certifications including CASP+, CySA+, Security+, GCIA, GCIH, and GSEC, and currently support security operations, alert investigation, and endpoint protection in an MSP environment.

I’m particularly interested in remote SOC Analyst, Cybersecurity Analyst, or Threat Detection roles.

If anyone knows of organizations hiring or would be open to connecting, I would greatly appreciate it.

    Hi there Patricia!

    What an awesome career!

    Just wanted to jump to share some thoughts on resources. I would strongly recommend leveraging your network;

    Circle back to your alma maters. Especially, if they are Technology or Cybersecurity focused i.e. college, universities or even some bootcamps have externship company connections that they can also lean on for full-time roles.

    Join some Cybersecurity groups and associations. Great way to network with others in the field and some may have their own job boards/postings.

    Take a look at previous employer where you have worked in this field and see if there are any opportunities available. You can then hunt for any of your prior connections to see if they are still there.

    Go to your LinkedIn profile and look at your existing connections. Use the search to look for cybersecurity or other keywords and see if any of your prior colleagues are still with companies you worked for OR landed themselves at new companies.

    These are just a few suggestions to kick things off. Hopefully this is helpful.

    Best regards,

    Coach Olivia
