This morning in an e-mail i received from Schwab was the message that 5.4 million Americans applied for business licenses in 2021 (up 53 percent from the pre-pandemic year of 2019).
That's a lot of people starting businesses. When did you start your business or become a freelancer/solopreneur/contractor? And what prompted that action?
I getting ready to retire from working tge 9 to 5 and will consult part time. I do not have any desire to leave working altogether but I do want to be selective and work far less. I have other interests in my life that now are a priority and I'd like to dedicate more time to them.
