My co worker is crazy!
So the topic of true crime shows came up today and my co worker started talking about a new documentary series on the Laci Peterson case and after watching the show she thinks Scott is innocent! My jaw just about hit the floor. At first I thought she was kidding, but she was serious. Has anyone else watched this and have feedback? I’m going to start watching it so I could debate better with her lol
Living near Durham, NC, my impression has always been that he was totally guilty. The evidence showed all signs of murder.
I am soooooooooo frustrated with the Scott Peterson case. He was convicted almost 16 years ago and his lawyers (rightfully) have thrown every possible appeal theory at the wall to see what sticks. Now the taxpayers have to pay for another sentencing trial when he should be in the death chamber by now. I work for a law school and believe in our system of justice so I can't criticize his legal team too much for trying to save his life....but it's infuriating that the man is still sucking air on the right side of the dirt.
There is an episode of Crime Junkie podcast (might be a two part show?) where they talk about the Laci Peterson case, and they honestly make some good points for Scott being innocent. It might be an interesting listen and give some good points to research.
I have seen it and I watched it several times as I host a true crime podcast. I will say that I do think Scott is guilty, I however don't think he killed Laci the way or on the day police say he did. Which in my mind doesn't matter as he is still a killer.
I haven't seen it, either. I feel like I've watched so many shows on that case. I wonder who produced it. Sometimes they bend the story to project guilt or innocence. It is possible Scott Peterson got some kick back or participated in it.
The Murder of Lacy Peterson on Hulu.
I haven't seen it. What is the show called??
Wow! She is crazy. What channel is the show on? Or can I stream it on Netflix/Hulu?
